Long running UK rockers Status Quo, return to Australia in March 2010. They been playing together 45 years which is longer than most readers of this website have been alive (give or take a few years) and most of us will remember a time when the Quo were as big as they get.
All in all they have sold an astounding 118 million records (which is what the presss release says and really who could prove otherwise?) and possessing over 60 UK chart hits, a feat only rivalled by the Rolling Stones.
Supporting Status Quo on tour will be Australia’s pub rock “bloody legends” The Screaming Jets who recently released their 10th album, Do Ya.
Status Quo played this year’s Glastonbury Festival, to a 80,000 strong crowd, with a set including Whatever You Want and Rockin’ All Over the World.
You can expect to hear those songs and others like Down The Dustpipe, Down Down and Roll Over Lay Down and others that don’t have the word “down” in the title including Rain, Caroline and the very strange Pictures Of Matchstick Men
