News has just come in that Steve Prestwich, the drummer for Cold Chisel has died from a brain tumour at the age of 56. The sad event occurred on Sunday afternoon. Prestwich was a founding member of Cold Chisel alongside Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Don Walker and Les Kaczmarek. Harvey James Dies

In sad news, Sherbet guitarist Harvey James died last night in Melbourne at 8.15pm after a battle with lung cancer. He was 58 years old. Harvey James was one of the mainstays of the early Australian rock scene and had a role in many important bands before he was enlisted to join Sherbet at the height of their fame in 1975.
