Graham Parker’s New Album Coming

The resilient and still vital Graham Parker has a new album listed for release on Amazon with  a March release date published, although his official site does not mention it as yet.

But I like the sound of the description he has apparently provided to Amazon:

“… I went off to write treatments to my own imaginary TV shows which I would grace with the correct theme tunes, not ones chosen by idiots. (Instead of lyrics on the album cover, you get plots!) –Graham Parker

The Product Description provided by Amazon is equally enticing:

“Inspired by the grossly lame themes used for sitcoms and television dramas, “Imaginary Television” is Graham Parker thinking outside of “the box,” or maybe inside it. Parker created his own TV treatments, wrote the tunes to go along with them, and rocking ensued.”

It seems likely that the new album will be a deserving addition to a body of work you may be surprised to see collected in one list:
