Tim Buckley was an extraordinary artist and he was also the father of another extraordinary artist Jeff Buckley. Both died before their time and after their deaths a number of recordings has emerged.
The latest is a live album from Tim Buckley ‘Live At The Folklore Centre, 1967’ and was recorded by journalist Izzy Young, who also interviewed Buckley – an interview that will be included in the release.
This concert was recorded one year after his debut album and apparently had just thirty five people in the audience!
‘Just Please Leave Me,’ ‘What Do You Do (He Never Saw You),’ ‘If The Rain Comes,’ ‘Cripples Cry,’ ‘Country Boy’ and ‘I Can’t Leave You Loving Me,’ are all songs that had never been previously released.
