Janes Addiction Australian Shows

Following their announcement of US shows with NIN, Janes Addiction have now announced an Australian tour for July. In addition to playing the Splendour In The Grass festival they will be doing headline shows around the country.

It’s twenty-one years since they released the extraordinary album Nothing’s Shocking which became one of the defining moments of ‘alternative rock”.  Perry Farrell went on to create Lollapolooza  and eventually the band went their own ways. A version of Jane’s Addiction played the Big Day Out six years ago, but this tour sees the original line-up reform.

That  classic line-up is Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins.
It’s good to see Navarro return from the purgatory of Rock Star Supernova, which was kind of fun at the time but now seems absurd in retrospect.
